The best views in the region. Good restaurants. Good staff. Nice rooms. Make sure to insist on lake front room 2 or 3 floor above the main patio facing south for the best views from your room. Great for families. Lot's of kids so eat late. Plenty of quiet spots in the resort, even with all the children. I would not honeymoon here regardless of the beauty. Worth 5 stars but too noisy for older couples or honeymooners.
It's a beautiful historical hotel on a small island in Lake George. The old world charm and scenery cannot be beat. It is pricey even in the off-season but so worth it. The rooms are cozy. The king sized bed is a bit on a the soft side. The service is impeccable and the staff are friendly.
My wife and I only went to the spa for couples massage. For what you’re paying, you’d expect a stress-free, relaxing experience at a high-end luxurious hotel like the Sagamore. Our experience from beginning to end was mediocre, at best. We get massages 1-2 times a month. Also, as a chiropractor, I’ve worked with massage therapists for 15 years...sorry, I’m not impressed! We will probably not be coming back due to the lack of professionalism, organization, or inability to make the clients feel special.
Great vacation place. Breakfast is amazing, they even opened an extra area for the overflow so we didn’t have to wait. The boat cruise is romantic, just like everything else in this resort. The Sagamore has the most adorable decor and the most warm and cordial service. The room is comfortable and very homey. Would definitely come back again.
Perfect setting for a couples only holiday as well as a family one. The location, on the shore of Lake George, is just stunning, the facilities are plentiful with loads to do, fully equipped Rec room with mini golf, basketball courts, baseball , table tennis and gaming consoles. There are toys and slides for the little ones, as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is super helpful.Wonderful restaurants overlooking the lake and a real log fire in the Lobby. There is even a boat tour of Lake George . Activities on the weekend(Movies etc) during season , of course.Too many things to appreciate! SUPERB! Cant recommend it enough
